INGREDIENTS: (INCLUDING FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVES, PRESERVATIVES, COLORS, SPICES AND FLAVORS)

Boneless breast of chicken with rib meat (marinated with up to 8% of solution of chicken broth (water, dry chicken stock), salt, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, natural flavoring), bleached wheat flour, broccoli, K water, pasteurized process Swiss and American cheese (cultured milk, salt, enzymes), water, sodium phosphate, salt. May contain: Cream, sodium pyrophosphate, lactic acid, sodium citrate, sorbic acid (preservative), 2% or less of: Modified corn starch, dextrose, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salt, margarine powder (dried margarine, (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salt), non fat milk, lecithin, mono and di glycerides, annatto extract, artificial flavor), whey, sodium caseinate, mono and di glycerides), whey, powder, paprika, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate), vegetable oil base (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, lactose, sodium caseinate, dipotassium phosphate), nonfat dry milk, calcium caseinate, mono and di glycerides, garlic powder, spices, natural flavoring. Pre-browned in soybean oil.

All the ingredients specified in the ingredient statement EXCEPT the ones mentioned in the comments section are permitted to be used in the above mentioned product without any restrictions. Good Manufacturing Practices recommended. Please review the comments.

COMMENTS:

  1. Sorbic acid as preservative in cheese cannot exceed 3 g/kg.
  2. Artificial flavor in margarine must be specified.
  3. Sodium caseinate can be used without any restrictions but Calcium caseinate is not a permitted food additive.
  4. For seasoned meat products the meat content should be 60% minimum, while 70%-75% is the recommended amount.
Please note that the comments would vary depending on the importing country.

RECOMMENDED TESTS: Standard Test Profile consisting of tests for nitrite, artificial colors, coliform bacteria, and preservatives (benzoic acid and sorbic acid) is recommended. Please note that the recommended tests and microbiological requirements vary from country to country.
